I was not initially drawn to the profession until I saw the skill, attention to detail and precision it took to create a desired haircut. It is an art to take a blank canvas, so to speak, and create the desired haircut. It became a love and obsession to perfect my craft as I saw the way someone’s attitude and demeanor changed after their haircut. The smile and appreciation, along with the confidence a good haircut gives my clients is what gave me determination to learn and be the best I can. Now I also apply that to my kid clients.
I’ve tweaked my skill set, so I can make the haircutting experience enjoyable for my little clients and their parents, while still providing high level results. Now, I also teach and help others develop this very specific craft. Whether it’s me or any of my students working at Kid’s Hair Etc., you and your child will receive the best haircut and customer service possible. I love what I do!

I have been in this profession since 2016. I initially began working as a receptionist and grew to love cutting hair because it involves a lot of detail work, which I love and interests me. I like to do mind challenging things like puzzles and Legos, which I think gives me a good sense of patience and understanding which I can use in my profession when it comes to kids.

Growing up in my family’s salon, I’ve always loved the art of cutting hair. Cutting hair and hot towel shaves have become my favorite hobby. It’s a pastime that’s truly relaxing, satisfying and rewarding, but then there’s kids.
Scared children + sharp scissors + loud clippers = disaster?...No, quite the opposite really. With patience, discernment, and kindness (also lollipops), we can create wonderful experiences. It’s quite the experience to build trusting relationships as a kid’s barber, performing an extremely difficult task while keeping everyone calm and happy. Therein lies our real job: making haircuts seem easy, a scary experience to be enjoyable and a place of preconceived dread to a place of comfortability.
So what are: Barbers? Therapists? Entertainers? Friends? Yes, all of the above!

A little about me: I have a love for coffee, travel, friends and family. I also love to be a barber.
I’ve had the privilege to be in this field for years now, but my passion for it started at the age of 12. I chose this profession because I loved the ability to change someone’s look with a cut and style. Learning how to embrace my hair and make the most of it helped my appreciate my curls.
My hope is to do the same for you!
You deserve to feel the upmost confident in your signature look, whether you are adult or child.
I hope to see you in my chair soon!

The primary reason I chose this profession is because it’s a form of art, and I like the idea of being able to change a person’s image through it. I enjoy drawing, and cutting, doing fades and lining the hair is a similar, if not identical concept. Secondarily, this profession provides a nice environment where I can connect with, understand, and provide you, the client, whether adult or child, a fun and relaxing experience. It is my goal to make you, as my client or parent of the child, feel safe and happy with the results.
My goal is not just to provide a great haircut, but to provide A GREAT EXPERIENCE!
